How It Works

• Purchase this deposit to reserve your order.
• I will contact you with instructions for shipping or delivering your feathers.
• We’ll discuss your vision, layout, frame options, and any custom additions.
• Once your artwork is complete, the remaining balance (plus shipping, if applicable) will be due before your piece is shipped.

My Process

Every specimen is professionally cleaned, washed, and dried before being incorporated into your artwork. This process removes dirt, blood, and other natural debris while helping preserve your feathers, ensuring your finished piece can be enjoyed for years to come.

Specimen Quality

The quality of your finished artwork is only as good as the quality of the feathers provided. While cleaning restores the appearance of dirty feathers, it cannot repair feathers that are broken, missing, heavily worn, or otherwise damaged.

Once I receive your bird, I will evaluate the condition and quality of the feathers and determine the largest frame size that will produce the best-looking finished piece. If your specimen has more feather damage than expected, I may recommend a smaller frame to create a fuller, more balanced design.

If your bird has significant feather damage but you’d like a larger display, you may choose to provide feathers from a second turkey. I can often blend feathers from two birds into one cohesive design. Please note that every turkey has its own unique color, pattern, and iridescence, so some variation between birds is natural. I take great care to blend them as seamlessly as possible.

Pricing Guidelines

The deposit reserves your place in my production schedule and will be applied toward the final balance of your custom turkey feather artwork.

To provide a general idea of final pricing:

• 35” x 35” frame — starting at $400
• 30” x 48” frame — starting at $425
• 40” x 40” frame — starting at $500

Final pricing may vary based on the individual specimen, frame selection, feather layout, and any special requests or custom additions. Each piece is uniquely designed around the turkey provided, so pricing will be determined after reviewing your specimen and discussing your vision for the finished artwork.
